About the Artist: Robert Gamblin

Robert Gamblin is a graduate of the San Francisco Art Institute graduate painting program. It was there that he discovered his love of painting landscapes and painting in oil. Robert first started developing his own oil painting materials in 1980. Since then he has created his own international brand of oil painting materials, Gamblin Artists Colors. He also founded Gamblin Conservation Colors in 2000, helping create a guide to oil paint colors for conservators and restorers in many major museums.
