About the Artist: Margaret Peot

Margaret Peot is an author, writer, printmaker and painter. She is a member of the United Scenic Artists and she is known for her work painting and dyeing costumes for many Broadway, television and film productions. Her paintings have been featured in galleries and venues around the country including the Lake Plaid Center for the Arts, Saint Peter’s Church Gallery, The Center for Book Arts and more. She’s also known for her children’s book Inkblot: Drip, Splat and Squish Your Way to Creativity, and she is a Eureka! Silver Medal winner fro non-fiction children’s books.
