- Color Theory a must to have Review by Bruce
When Sandra recommended I take the color theory course I said to myself " Ugh another theory course without any practical application - sigh". Yet my desire is to get good at color pencil renderings so if the master says wax on, wax off, that is what I'll do!
While I found doing the charts a tad tedious, it was interesting to see the wealth of colors that were produced! I don't know what the names to most of those colors are, yet I do know how to produce them which is really all that matters.
The charts are an encyclopedia of colors that takes the guess work out of what color group(s) to use. I tried using the charts with the "test" at the end of Book 3 and really saw the practical application of these charts. They really make figuring out what pencils per se to use easy.
For anyone really wanting to master color pencil, you really need to take this course otherwise you'll be guessing all the time as to what color pencil to use. Using the ones from the right color group will make all the difference in a quality rendering and one that is ho hum

- A Wonderful Color Theory Course! Review by April
Sandra Angelo's Color Theory Course is superb. I have read many books and attempted many versions of color theory over the years, but I have found this course the most concise and easy to digest. If you follow along and do the suggested color charts, etc., I am sure you will be pleasantly surprised and how many colors you discover and how easily your brain absorbs the concepts. Good luck, enjoy!

- Being self-taught, I love this addition to my library. Review by Alicia
If you ever wanted a clear and concise discussion of color theory, this is one you want to have in your library. I have taken other color theory workshops, but they were not as easy to follow as this one. I love the color harmony theory. This is one thing that I, like many others, have struggled with.
