Bio/Intro:

Janie Gildow began her career in art education, and was the recipient of the Martha  Holden Jennings Award for excellence in teaching. A professional artist since 1991, her colored pencil works are internationally acclaimed and have won numerous awards, and as a member of the CPSA and its Membership Director for 2 years, Janie earned Signature status and the 5-Year Award. Janie is the author of The Colored Pencil Solution Book and Colored Pencil Explorations, both published by North Light Books. Janie Gildow is an awesome teacher of colored pencil & a master at the art as far as I am concerned. I have her books and dvds....and they are a must for me. I have been working with the colored pencils for a few years, and I constantly rely on her for
