I have all of Gordon Mackenzie's books and his first DVD, his books and the 1st DVD are excellent....this DVD is a waste of money and as disappointing as hell. I am a beginner in watercolor and I can do waves better than his, his finished painting looks like an Irish bog definitely not like waves in a seascape....I'm sorry but that's my honest opinion...and I only wish to save people money....buy his books and 1st DVD they are worth it, but NOT this DVD

I have watched this video several times. I even dream about this video. Mr. Mackenzie knows how to teach as well as being a great artist. He makes a complicated subject so easy to follow and to apply the technique instantly. He gives me confidence with his easy manner.

I have wanted to attend his workshop but have never had the opportunity. I have his DVD on Watercolor Essentials Notebook: Landscapes and it is very informative. He is an excellent teacher and I will buy this DVD.
