- Good instruction, terrible sound Review by Lifesastitch
This is a very matter of fact approach to teaching, explaining the how's and the why's every step of the way. More layers of paint than I like to use in watercolour, but effective. The production quality of the sound is distracting - crackly as if being played through a bad speaker. Checked and it happened on all three of my devices. Wouldn't recommend it until that is corrected.

- A Watercolorist Master Review by terryb
James Toogood is truly a wonder to watch as he moves watercolor over the paper to create the most wonderful of scenes. He has a deep sense of values, light and textures. He blends the watercolors in the most adept manner. He is highly knowledgeable of the medium. He is a wonderful teacher and seems to enjoy sharing. He doesn't hold anything back as he describes so adeptly the treatment he uses to secure the paper, to the colors he uses and when to change brush types and sizes. He lets you know not only what he is doing, but why is doing it. I learned so much from him and appreciated his style of painting so much. I highly recommend studying his techniques closely and to watch him whenever possible. You will not be disappointed.
