I enjoyed everything about it! Review by Michele

I've always shied away from painting people, and I am just beginning to learn the drawing skills I need to try some faces in watercolor. Mary's paintings are much more than portraits, as they capture the whole environment and add the atmosphere of the subject's life. She has some great tips and adds a large dose of encouragement. I can't wait to start practicing!

Useful and succinct Review by NANCY

Right to the point on the basics. Mary reminded me to "keep it simple" and to think of how direct and simple the works of famous artists so often are. Listing things that move me emotionally as she recommends leads me to paint more successful paintings that reveal my passion for the subject and this expresses itself in better paintings that appeal to more people. A lot of important instruction in a neat, short package.
