Disappointed Review by Hummingbrd
Rating

I bought this book based on the description of the contents. One thing I was most interested in was the topic of how to choose the background color, be it colored paper or paint. Maybe I misunderstood, but I thought this was going to be addressed in the book. If it is in there, I sure can't find it. It shows several pastel painting and states the background she chose, but it does not explain why she chose the background she did. How did she come to her choice??? Other than that the book has a lot of basic information, that one finds in just about almost every painting book I have whether watercolors or pastels.
