About the Artist: Lin Wellford

Lin Wellford published her first rock painting book in 1994 after many years of perfecting her own rock painting techniques. That first book was just one of an entire line published for North Light Books. Focusing on how to turn ordinary rocks into interesting pieces of art, Lin loves to spread the word on this interesting artform. She loves the accessibility and inexpensiveness of painting rocks, as well as the many possibilities that come with each new "canvas".
