Visual feast of drawing Review by Christine

Don't ever let anyone tell you that drawing is the "poor relation" of painting. This book runs through all the major genres, showing exactly what stupendous results drawing can achieve. The majority of the work is monochrome, but don't let that put you shows how beautiful monochrome can still be, even in a world where everyone expects things to be full of multi-colour technicolour.
I think it is also important not to be TOO over-awed by what the artists have achieved.... use the book as inspiration, to do your own thing. Highly recommended as a visual feast.
