Notes from the Staff Review by Watercolor Artist Staff

Join us as we follow Minnesota artist John Salminen and Singapore watercolorist Ong Kim Seng to the first Shanghai Zhujiajiao International Watercolor Biennial. All told, more than 200 artists from around the globe participated in the show, but Watercolor Artist casts its gaze on 11 Chinese watercolorists who are making their own unique mark on the medium. Also in this issue, a number of American artists add to the dialogue, sharing their best tips for painting everything from traditional portraits and plein air landscapes to experimental watermedia collage.
