A word from the features editor! Review by Sarah Strickley

As Kelly Kane remarks in her Editor's Note, if you've ever given it a try, keeping it simple can be harder than it sounds. Our October issue will give you the tools you need to capture the essence of your subject without getting lost in distracting or extraneous details. I think readers will take particular interest in Eric Wiegardt's excellent advice for getting more creative results out of your source photography. Enjoy!
